Roth Staffing is looking for Appian Platform Engineer II. Hourly Pay Rate: $62.00 -to- $66.90
As a Platform Engineer within the Technology team, this person will provide critical support for Appian Applications that support Finance and Accounting function within the company. This person will use their technical experience and depth with the Appian Platform to apply industry standards, protocols, technologies, best practices, and commonly used enterprise systems.
Job Responsibilities:
· Work directly with Finance Technology and Business teams to understand the business process and requirements and providing them with end-user support.
· Partner with IT and functional areas to develop simple, effective, and innovative solutions to simplify the workflow processes.
· Ensure the smooth operation of Finance Appian applications by monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and applying necessary updates and patches.
· Identify areas for process improvement within existing Finance Appian applications and implement those enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
· Assist with the creation and review of programming documentation and recommend changes in development, maintenance, and application standards.
· Perform process development and testing/debugging, using best practices to ensure minimal maintenance.
· Conduct knowledge sharing sessions of the Finance Appian applications with other Appian Platform resources.
Required Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, information technology, or related field
· 5+ years' experience designing and maintaining Appian BPM Applications
· Software development experience (.NET, Java, Visual Basic, C#, etc.)
· Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.
· Experience with Appian Admin console, administration of application servers would be helpful
· Familiarity with Appian Integrations, Appian Plug-Ins
· Familiarity with MS-SQL or equivalent
· Experience working in an Agile team environment
· Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
"Nice to have" skills:
· Familiarity with Finance functions including Accounting, AP/AR, Financial Reporting and General Ledger and Subledger concepts
· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Appian Level 1, 2, and/or 3 Certification
· Advanced knowledge and experience in Appian, BPM, or other Workflow Development experience
· Knowledge of Appian development, UI design, defining custom data types, process design
· Experience working with Azure DevOps, pipelines, and AWS
